WHO IS TATYHANA?

Tatyhana Blaise is the Founder & Managing Member of TrailblazHER, a movement built to give women and girls real ownership in flag football — as athletes, coaches, and operators, not just participants.

Tatyhana's own path through the sport shaped that mission. She began as a running back for the WFA's Detroit Dark Angels, rushing for over 4,000 yards and 30+ touchdowns in tackle football, including a single-season record of 2,500+ rushing yards. When the sport shifted post-COVID, she transitioned to flag football and relocated to Atlanta, where she now competes as a professional defensive back and wide receiver for WFFN Team America (USA) and Love & Thunder (China), with her sights set on flag football's Olympic debut in 2028.

Off the field, Tatyhana is Head Coach at The Lovett School in Atlanta, GA, where she launched and coached the inaugural girls flag football program and TrailblazHER Flag Football Club, an elite girls travel program. She also serves as an assistant coach at Tyner Academy in Chattanooga, TN and previously served as a recruiter for Crucial Flag Football Club, placing 100% of the athletes she recruited into collegiate programs. That coaching foundation is what led her to build TrailblazHER — athlete consulting, media, and brand strategy for the women driving this sport forward, alongside a growing nonprofit arm offering scholarship pathways, equipment donations, and coach and referee certification for underserved programs around the world.
